This course covers either Classical or Contemporary performance genres - covering vocals and / or instrumentation.
Performance Techniques can cater for the beginner musician or for the more advanced level student who is interested in achieving early entry into a connected undergraduate degree.
Students will begin with an overview of performance looking at the history of classical and contemporary as well as developing their skills in either stream, preparing their piece to be presented at the final assessment in the final week of the program. This course offers opportunities for early entry into our popular Bachelor of Music (Classical) and Bachelor of Music (Contemporary) undergraduate degree programs at AIM*.
