2006 marked the beginning of a very exciting phase in music education at AIM - the Sydney Youth Orchestras are now in residence at the Australian Institute of Music. 

Sydney Youth Orchestras is a dynamic organisation offering unparalleled orchestral training experience, providing ensembles that allow young musicians to develop individual and ensemble musical skills that they will value for life. In 2007 Sydney Youth Orchestras will continue to offer members an international standard of training through comprehensive rehearsals and intensive tutorials.
