* Please note: The Mint Boardroom will not be used in the 2011 Program.

Elective seminar venue for the 07/08 progam, the Boardroom at The Mint is a site of great historical significance in Macquarie Street. The building was constructed between 1811 and 1816, by direction of Governor Macquarie as the southern wing of the "Rum Hospital" then expanded in 1854 to accommodate the first branch of the Royal Mint outside of England

The multi-layered history of the site has been successfully combined with innovative and stylish contemporary function spaces. The Boardroom, featuring Eames boardroom table and leather chairs juxtaposed with an ornate ceiling and timber panelling, opens onto a spectacular courtyard.

Recently awarded Winner - Specialty venue at the 2006 NSW Meeting & Events Industry Awards, The Mint is one of Sydney's most exciting new venues.
