Can I register interest in attending one or more seminars, without applying for degree entry? Yes. Interest in attending individual seminars can be registered through the Application
Form. Applicants will be required to make a statement summarising their professional and
academic attainments. To ensure each seminar is of maximum benefit to all participants, a
minimum level of experience is required. This ensures students can relate to the concepts, and
that everyone can contribute positively to the group dynamic*. Successful applicants will be
entitled to the pre-seminar briefing pack, the two day seminar, and assessment feedback.
What does it cost? The cost for each seminar is $1,200 which must be paid prior to the seminar.
When will I know if my application has been successful? Degree students will receive prioritisation, and only when their preferences have been allocated
will individual seminar tickets be made available. Capacity will definitely exist for enrolment in
certain 2009 seminars, due to part-time enrolment and electives. Where possible, offers will be
advised by November 28. Applications may be accepted after the November 14 deadline if places
are still available.
Is it possible to gradually undertake the Masters degree in this way? No. Not all modules are available for individual enrolment, and so it is not possible to gradually
accumulate credit points and attain the Masters qualification in this way. However, students
who perform well in individual modules can apply for admission into the degree, use their
module marks as part of their case for admission, and receive advanced standing for modules
successfully completed.
Are there modules that cannot be undertaken on a Non-Award basis? Yes, Arts & Entertainment Management, Research Project, and New Venture Planning cannot be
undertaken on a Non-Award basis.
