Luke draws influence from a diverse array of composers and producers ranging from Sasha to Stravinsky, and Digweed to Debussy. Built upon a foundation of deep hypnotic grooves, lush melodies and pulsating bass-lines, his sound has developed into a discernible style that effortlessly straddles the divide between the genres of progressive, tech and deep house. Always looking to push the sonic boundaries in creative ways, Luke’s relentless search for new sounds ensures that his music will continue to evolve. As a DJ Luke has played in many clubs both within Australia and overseas, from Launceston to Sydney and Florence to Ibiza, he has kept dance Floors captivated with his unique brand of hypnotic and melodic house music. During the past six years Luke has supported many local and international artists, some of these include Jerome Isma-Ae, Luke Fair, Jody Wisternoff, Eric Prydz, Ian Carey, Sam La More.

Delivered by David Jacob (Melbourne)

David Jacob is an electronic composer and producer who hails from the south-east of Ireland. Having spent his teenage years as a DJ and holding his first club residency at the age of 16, his relationship with music technology started early and was expanded by making the logical move into producing his own tracks. Although initially self-taught, 2012 saw David complete a master’s degree in music technology at the University of Limerick.

Over the course of the last decade he has refined his production techniques and style and, as a result, seen a number of his original releases and remixes for Gobsmacked, Lo-Tech and Motormouth records achieve chart positions on the likes of Beatport and Trackitdown. As resident DJ and founding member of an Irish sound-system collective, he has provided support to luminaries of the hard electronic music scene and promoted numerous electronic music events in his home country.
