A large number of vocational creative courses covered by VET FEE HELP, have recently been dropped from the list of courses and subjects eligible for taxpayer funded support and will no longer be eligible for government subsidies.
These cuts DO NOT affect any courses offered at the Australian Institute of Music. VET FEE HELP, and FEE HELP are different student loans.
FEE HELP is a loan scheme that assists eligible fee paying students pay all, or part of their tertiary tuition fees. The courses must be Higher Education courses, and not vocational courses.
VET FEE HELP is also a loan from the government to cover part or all of the course fees for VOCATIONAL or VET courses. All courses at AIM are Higher Education programs and student loans are still very much available for all eligible AIM students.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding FEE HELP, please do not hesitate to contact AIM admissions on (02)9219 5499 or visit the FEE Help website
