AIM tuba player Emily Hansen, competed recently in the National Band Championships in Hobart. She was placed first in all classes. Emily won the Open EEb and is now the national EEb tuba champion. She also was placed to compete in the Champion of Champions and was placed second.

One of her bands, the Junior (under 19) A grade band competed and won their section, as did the Senior open B Grade band.
