The Australian Institute of Music is offering two fun & informative holiday music workshops. Both workshops take place from 5-7 July 2011 & are designed for years 7-12.
1. MUSIC FACTORY (5-7 July 2011)
8.45am-3.45pm over 3 days
For Years 7-12: Three Day Holiday Workshops
Offering informative & entertaining workshops & master classes with industry professional musicians. Music Factory is a great opportunity for all high school students to develop their technical skills, ensemble performance & valuable repertoire knowledge. Students will work in ensembles of their choice where they will perform with their fellow musicians under the direction of experienced professional musicians. Music Factory will culminate with a concert at AIM, where participants will perform for family & friends in a professional concert venue.
The Cost
For 3 days is $250
This cost covers either the Music Factory ONLY or Music Factory + HSC Music Workshops combined.
2. HSC PREPARATION WORKSHOPS (5-7 July 2011)
1.45pm-4.45pm over 3 days
For Years 11-12: Get prepared for your HSC music exams!
Study tips & advice from HSC Markers & industry professionals covering Performance, Composition & Musicology. Get valuable feedback & information on how to prepare for written & practical HSC exams. Students can also take part in a concert held at AIM on Thursday 7th July from 6.30pm at which parents and friends are invited.
* COMBINE BOTH
HSC students can ALSO combine Music Factory morning workshops + HSC afternoon workshops.
The Cost
HSC ONLY: For 3 days is $99
HSC AND Music Factory: $250
