Unit Description: This unit will develop student's proficiency in increasingly complex warm-up routines, vocal and physical exercises. Proficiency will have been developed in improvisation and theatre games. Students will be introduced to and develop an understanding of the acting styles and history of Commedie de l' Arte, French Neo-classical and Restoration Theatre. Stanislavksy's theories on characterisation will be addressed and students will develop competencies in understanding and applying these theories.
