Free Lunchtime Concert Series from AIM, featuring the exceptional talents of AIM students.

Sound and Music for Film and Television will demonstrate the range of opportunities available to students interested in a career in music composition & music production and audio in film and television. The performance workshop will also integrate multimedia using image projection and surround sound system. Students will experience: 

·         Screening of an award-winning short film by AIM student Pat Nellestein

·         Live scoring for a film - creating a music cue with musicians LIVE to vision on screen

·         Creation of ‘foley’ (sound effects)

·         Demonstration of technology-focused composition/ music production for TV, film, DJ, dance and electronic music.

 
The skills and techniques presented in Sound and Music for Film and Television will have ready application to the Elective music and HSC courses for developing creativity with music technology and understanding music for film and video.
