AIM Australian Institute of Music

AIM Student Community

a place to belong

Students who come to AIM and study are part of a rich community of over 500 students all who are keen to explore their musical talents and be stimulated by new musical experiences. The students are a community of like minded individuals keen to focus on their love and commitment for music where musical bonds are formed and personal friendships established which last a lifetime.

Our students are truly international from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds from Russia, Sweden, UK, North America and Asia to name a few. Each bring with them a unique perspective on musical styles and influences.

This eclectic range of students wish to develop their talents across a range of contemporary music interests, classical, a huge variety of instruments (no instrument is turned away), technical skills, performance skills and management. Together with the teachers and courses, which cover every aspect of music, they represent a microcosm of the bigger world of music.
