AIM High School | HSC | Performance and Audio

AIM High is a Music High School. By combining traditional HSC subjects together with music performance, students obtain a uniquely motivating Senior Secondary HSC educational experience.

All AIM High students gain a Certificate II in Music Industry (CUS20109) as well as their HSC. AIM High also offers the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extracurricular music performance activities to bring the HSC to life in a way not possible in other schools. Students can also have access to AIM's industry standard producton & studio recording facilities.

Application & Entry
Application & acceptance involves an interview with both Parent/Guardian and student, to assess suitability for Senior High studies at AIM. A short audition will also be required.

In addition, students will have access to all the facilities available to the tertiary degree students and will have the invaluable benefit of being in constant contact with teaching staff made up of professional musicians, engineers, teachers and managers.

AIM High School Handbook

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Successful completion of an approved English Preparation for High School course at a NSW Government Schools Intensive English Centre, TAFE NSW English Language Centre or selected private college; or

An IELTS (International English Language Testing Systems) score of 5.5 or higher for entry to AIM High Years 11 and 12, or

Satisfactory results in another approved English language test, such as AEAS and TOEFL
All secondary studies have been conducted in English for a minimum of two years.
