The AADA student body is a small and intimate band of players within the larger AIM community of nearly 800 students. As a department, AADA can ensure a high level of staff to student contact and opportunity. We listen and act on student feedback, and our students are always active in the wider AIM Student Association (ASA).
The Bachelor of Performance attracts a diverse group of students to each intake: school leavers from across the country, recent university graduates from the arts and sciences, dynamic members of youth theatre companies, and those who’ve made a bold career move to pursue a long-held passion.
AADA is a place where respect for individual creativity is welcomed and nurtured; informed investigation is expected and encouraged; quality student-centred projects are facilitated and exposed; critical rigour is engaged with honesty and integrity; and new professional pathways are revealed.
