The Australian Institute of Music is situated in the heart of Surry Hills in Sydney over 4 buildings, in addition to the Pilgrim Theatre for AADA at 262 Pitt St, Sydney. With its inspiring music scene, Sydney caters to all musical tastes from eclectic, hidden bands to the major festivals and overseas touring artists.
We are also easily reached by all major transport including buses and trains at Central Station (a 2 minute walk from AIM), and in close proximity to a range of comfortable and affordable accommodation options.

SURRY HILLS Surry Hills is Sydney's eclectic bohemian village, attracting creatives, professionals and inner city residential dwellers alike, with its many tree lined streets and terrace housing. Surry Hills is also home to many off-beat designer and vintage clothing shops, fashion aficionados, music venues, tertiary colleges, collectables and lifestyle shopping, not to mention a vast selection of quaint cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants, all easily accessible by car, bus, train, bike or foot.
