As a music education provider, the Australian Institute of Music is also part of the wider Australian Music Industry & partners. As such we are proud to work in collaboration with other organisations, companies, businesses & individuals, providing education & opportunity for those seeking to develop a career in music. Working in partnership with others to play our role within the industry is an important aspect of what we do here at AIM.
The Australian Institute of Music has worked hard to build strong links with the music and entertainment industry throughout Sydney and Australia. AIM enjoys a positive reputation and the opportunity to work hand in hand with the industry that it educates and trains people for.
Some of our partnerships and arrangements include: Perfect Pitch Music Publishing, Billy Hydes, Apple Computers, Sydney Opera House and Australian Catholic University.
The Institute also pride’s itself on being able to contribute to industry talent and the next wave of artists, producers, and creative’s - From performers to audio engineers, composers, songwriters, marketing, management and events people.
AIM also has very strong connections to the industry through the staff who teach at the institute. The Australian Institute of Music employs some of the finest music teachers from Sydney & around the world, and our staff are industry leaders in their own right, with strong industry credentials and experience. AIM students have direct contact with the music industry because AIM faculty maintain their roles within the real world industry.
