AADA Staff
| Andrew is a graduate of the Directing course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). His work as a Director and Musical Director includes plays, musicals, opera and cabaret. He has also developed several new works with young writers and emerging theatre companies. Andrew’s directing credits include: Dangerous Liaisons, The Illusion, The Magic Flute, Pippin, Suddenly Last Summer, Vinegar Tom, and The Who’s rock opera, Tommy for the Australian Institute of Music. He holds degrees in theatre and music from the University of New South Wales, and undertook postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney and Longy School of Music in Boston, USA. Andrew has worked with the leading youth theatre companies and performing arts schools in Sydney. He has led international workshops for actors, musicians and dancers across Australia, the USA & the UK. |
| Barry trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. He maintained a successful acting career in the United Kingdom before coming to Australia in the early 1980s. Barry is well known for his numerous leading roles on film and television, both here and in the UK. His stage credits in plays and musicals range from David Williamson’s Soulmates at the Sydney Theatre Company to the lead role of Julian Marsh in 42nd Street. Barry teaches Acting for Camera, Screen & Television Studies and is an occasional Director of AADA productions, including The Insect Play, The Dining Room, and The Wild Party.
