Tim Bruer is a professional musician and teacher who has worked in the industry for almost 40 years. Obtaining a Bachelor of Music in jazz performance from Adelaide University and a Masters of Music in jazz performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Tim has gone on to enjoy a busy career as a live performer.
Tim has played live with a Who’s Who of Australian music and entertainment including Bert Newton, Don Burrows, Monica Trapaga, Jackie Orzarsky, Elana Stone, Steve Hunter, Dale Barlow, Carl Orr and Bernie McGann.
Tim’s studio recordings include three albums with The Tim Bruer Quartet as well as albums by Guy Le Claire and Jimmy Vargas and The Black Dahlias.
