Matt Amy is a composer, arranger, trombonist and musical director based in Melbourne. His screen credits include Dancing with the Stars, Australia’s Got Talent and Australian Idol and movies such as Death Defying Acts and Corporate Animals.
Matt’s arrangements have been performed by Auckland Philharmonia, LA Mambo All-Star Orchestra, Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Melbourne and Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Istanbul Symphony Orchestra.
Matt has been working in education for the past 16 years at numerous secondary and tertiary institutions. He served as Head of Arranging and Music Production for the Victorian State School Spectacular and is currently the Victorian representative on the executive board of the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia.
