David McLeod’s rich and varied career spans 30 years as a singer/songwriter, band leader, session and backup singer, and actor. As a recording artist, he has released three albums and one EP covering jazz, blues, original songs, and cast recordings. David speaks conversational Mandarin and sings a repertoire of Chinese material.
Stage credits include leads in the musicals Chess, Dimboola, Godspell, Bell Shakespears Bard on Broadway and Bare. His TV credits include roles in A Country Practice, All Saints and regular appearances on major TV variety shows with his band or solo performances.
As an educator, David has been lecturing and supervising as a vocal and performance coach since 2002, specializing in performance anxiety and breathing techniques working in the arts space with singers, actors and presenters as well as fine arts and well-being.
